Playing up the slope in the first half was always going to be a difficult task but one felt if the Warriors could keep in touch, then playing downhill in the second would be an advantage. Nailsea had a much larger pack but the Warriors seemed to have the mobility however it was Nailsea who opened the scoring on ten minutes with a converted try. Ten minutes later and they had their second try which was not converted however 10 minutes after that and they had their third try again converted which gave them a nineteen-point lead. The Warriors still battled on up hill and were rewarded with one minute of the half left when Rueben Lloyd went in for the try,
It was not long after the re-start and playing downhill that Ollie Massey-Birch took a quick tap penalty and after several dummies he crosses for the try which again was not converted. With less than 10 minutes of the second half and Warrior’s dominance Ozzie James then showed his pace for the try and with the conversion the Warriors were just two points adrift. Whilst the Warriors had there share of good possession it was Nailsea who scored three more tries to secure a dominant win.
