Taunton Rugby Football Club is proud to unveil its new 360˚tours on its website. As commercial bookings picks up following the pandemic, this exciting new feature allows potential customers to see exactly how the club’s smart facilities can be set up for conferencing, weddings and other events.
Nick Mason, the club’s Commercial Co-ordinator, commented, “People who have never been here before may not picture the facilities that we have available, but our 360˚ tour will soon prove that our business-orientated offering is clean, fresh and smart for their conference.”
The Tour is available on the TRFC website via the ‘Conferencing and Events’ page. The link can be found in the in the very top-right corner of the club’s Conferencing website. Guests will see the option for the 360˚ tour. It is straightforward from there to navigate through the different suites available on two floors for conferences and how the rooms can be calibrated in different room lay outs. There is even an option to see it arranged for weddings.
Ian Lewis, Managing Director of Taunton-based 360 South West who filmed the facilities for the website said, “It has been a great pleasure working on this project with Nick and his team. I have seen some excellent facilities that this venue has to offer. When we first spoke about the project, Nick was keen to show off Veritas Park to people far and wide, without them having to travel to the ground to see what is on offer. I really think we have achieved this and more – and we’re really proud to associate the 360 South West name with Taunton Rugby Club.”
The superb aerial footage showcases just how close the facilities are to the M5 motorway and to the railway line, underlining how accessible the ground is for conference delegates and wedding guests a like. With ample parking also evident from the bird’s eye view, it is no surprise that the venue at the midpoint between Bristol and Exeter ticks logistical boxes for many West Country businesses, even before entering the premises and sampling the stylish interiors and exceptional in-house catering.
Lewis continued, “We’ve now created online tours for all three stadiums in Taunton: Veritas Park, The Cygnet Healthcare Stadium and The Cooper Associates County Ground, homes of the Taunton Titans, Taunton Town FC and Somerset County Cricket Club. It’s brilliant being able to offer these spaces in both 360º and Virtual Reality!”
Whilst it was fun capturing the footage, it did require a big shift from the dedicated hospitality team at Taunton RFC who had to undertake numerous set changes across the full breadth of their suites and facilities during the day of the filming. Mason paid tribute to their enthusiasm and hard-work as well as thanking 360 South West, “Our guys worked tirelessly as ever to ensure that everything was spot on for Ian and his crew to film. It was fantastic to work with 360 South West. Special thanks to Ian for producing such an appealing visual tour of our venue.”
