TRFC Fixtures 2023/24

The fixtures have been released for Taunton Titans coming campaign in National League One and there are some mouth-watering encounters in prospect.

First up, on Saturday 2^nd September, Titans welcome a familiar foe back to Veritas Park. One of the founding clubs of the Rugby Union, Blackheath dropped down to National Two level at the end of the2021/22 season but have bounced back at the first time of asking and will be eager to make an instant impression. With the National League now restructured into three regional divisions there are also encounters with a couple of newly promoted oppositions to look forward to in the shape of Sedgley Park and Leicester Lions.

Taunton will travel to the northern limits of Manchester on7^th October to face Sedgley Park Tigers before welcoming more big cats, Leicester Lions, to Somerset on 18^th November. Meanwhile Richmond, once a Premiership outfit, drops down to National One from The Championship and will be Taunton’s second home fixture on 16^th September.

Titans’ first away engagement of the new term will be a West Country derby to whet the appetite at Plymouth Albion on 9^thSeptember whilst the return fixture is one to mark in the diaries just before Christmas on 16^th December.

It wouldn’t be a day out at the rugby in Taunton without the traditional pre-match carvery lunch, the envy of many of Titans’ opponents. Rugby-goers are encouraged to book ahead for these magnificent feasts by contacting the Commercial Team at TRFC.
