Volunteers…The Club Needs You!

 

Club Safeguarding Officer– No previous experience necessary, RFU training available both online and in local area. Would suit someone driven to ensure our club is safe for all levels of rugby. Ideally suit someone computer confident, to be able to ensure all team coaches, team managers, first aiders, committee members are put through for DBS and safeguarding procedures and best practice followed throughout the club. There are currently 2 experienced Assistant Safeguarding Officers with other roles, who can support the volunteer in the role and give on going advice/training. A DBS through the RFU will be undertaken.

 

Youth Fixtures Secretary –No previous experience necessary, next seasons fixtures are already programmed in. Ideally suit an individual who is used to using all types of communication/media ie. email , Messenger, WhatsApp, Facebook which are all used to confirm & rearrange fixtures each week. Existing Fixtures Secretary can work alongside until happy to take over.

 

Rugby Safe Lead - No previous experience necessary, RFU training available both online and in local area. Would suit someone computer confident to be able to ensure all RFU best practice is followed throughout all levels of the club. Ensuring teams have qualified First Aiders, equipment etc. Works closely with the Club Safeguarding Officer and Asst Club Safeguarding Officers. A DBS through the RFU will be undertaken.
